Municipal Hotel & Spa Liverpool – MGallery celebrates first birthday with Legacy launch
6 months ago
The Municipal Hotel & Spa Liverpool – MGallery is celebrating its first anniversary with the launch of a Legacy Club.
The five-star hotel will invite former employees of the Municipal Building in which it’s based to become members of the exclusive club.
And they will be able to collect their Legacy Club Membership Card from the iconic Dale Street destination venue on May 9.
The card will entitle the owner to 10% off spa access and treatments, in addition to food and drink between Monday and Thursday which they can redeem in the building’s stunning Palm Court, picturesque Botanic Tearoom, and brasserie-style Seaforth Restaurant, for a whole year.
To be in with a chance of collecting their very own Legacy Club Membership Card, previous employees need to visit the hotel, which opened in May 2023, and quote ‘legacy’ anytime between 10am – 6pm on Thursday, May 9.
They will be asked to fill in a short form, sharing with Municipal staff a nostalgic story from their time working in the Municipal Building. The limited-edition card will only be available to the first 500 people through the door on the day.
To further celebrate the occasion, those who collect their Legacy Club Membership Card will also be entered into a prize draw to win a free one-night stay in the hotel, a Grade II listed heritage building, for two people. Winners will be able to enjoy the hotel’s luxurious Palm Court, Seaforth Restaurant, state-of-the-art ‘city oasis’ Spa, and French and Italian inspired rooms.
Reflecting on the hotel’s first birthday, general manager at The Municipal Hotel & Spa Annie Brown says:
“We’re so grateful for the support we’ve received from the public since opening a year ago and wanted to give something back to show our appreciation.
“Time is the essence and heart of the hotel, and what better way to mark the occasion than by celebrating those that used to reside in The Municipal Building. During our first year, we’ve been lucky enough to celebrate some iconic events in the city, such as hosting Eurovision, and we can’t wait to see what the next year has in store.”
The Municipal Hotel & Spa Liverpool is situated in the heart of Liverpool’s bustling commercial district, a short stroll from Lime Street and Moorfield railway stations, and is part of MGallery, Accor Group’s luxury boutique-hotel brand.
