Today, 19 November, Liverpool welcomes a stunning new addition to its dining scene as The Ivy Liverpool Brasserie officially opens its doors in the iconic former Bank of England building on Castle Street.
Showcasing a beautifully restored Grade-I listed interior, exquisite dishes, and expertly crafted cocktails, excitement has been building for The Ivy Liverpool Brasserie ahead of the festive season, with thousands of bookings made for celebrations throughout Christmas and beyond.
An exciting addition to Liverpool’s culinary scene, The Ivy revealed its opulent interior, stunning bar, as well as a beautiful 16-person private dining room for those seeking an intimate setting for special events, festive parties and more.
Adorned with bold and elegant decor combined with opulent furnishings and nods to the city weaved into the artwork, The Ivy Liverpool Brasserie has a capacity to host 180 diners and is perfect for all dining occasions.
Its Amazon Room invites guests into a vibrant oasis of blues and greens, complete with a rich jade and cobalt, reflective agate floor.
From a delicious breakfast and brunch menu to its all day A La Carte, the midweek 1917 menu that is incredible value for money with two courses at just £19.17, through to The Ivy’s signature Sunday Roast, there is something to suit everyone’s tastebuds.
With the restaurant opening just in time for the festive season, guests will be able to enjoy the festive menu The Ivy Liverpool Brasserie will have to offer.
Standout dishes include the Whiskey Barrel Smoked Venison Tartare and the Goose, Turkey and Duck Shepherd’s Pie from the a-la carte, and the Turkey Ballotine, complete with apricot, cranberry and pork stuffing, pigs in blankets, and truffle sauce, and the Foraged Wild Mushroom and Truffle Linguine from the Festive Set Menu. Guests will also be able to enjoy the magic of The Ivy Snowman dessert (for a supplement) and truly see in the festive season in style.
The Ivy Liverpool Brasserie is also home to an extraordinary Afternoon Tea, as well as a children’s menu and dedicated vegan and vegetarian menu available to ensure every guest is taken care of.
Accompanying its food menu, The Ivy Liverpool Brasserie has revealed a carefully crafted drinks menu including an array of expertly made cocktails, as well as a full fine wines list and beers for guests who want to sit at the beautiful bar area and enjoy a tipple or two.
Local businesses are also celebrated on the drinks menu, with spirits brands such as Liverpool Gin Distillery, Liverpool Lost Dock, The Ginsmiths of Liverpool and Tappers Distillery featuring in the selection alongside Liverpuddlian breweries; Black Lodge Brewery, Love Lane Brewery, and Glen Affric Brewery.
