5 reasons to visit Cheshire’s beautiful Carden Park Hotel and Spa
5 days ago

It’s Mother’s Day this weekend, and if you want to show your mum she means the world to you – and more – we know just the thing.
Carden Park Hotel and Spa in Cheshire has created a special Sunday Lunch, and the main event three-course menu’s guaranteed to come with a side dish of magical memories that everyone will want to share!
Served in the hotel’s luxurious Redmond’s Brasserie, the menu’s been prepared by Carden Park’s talented team of chefs who’ll be bringing the elegance and flair of Carden cuisine to the much-loved British tradition of a Sunday roast.
With starters like Glazed Smoked Haddock Rarebit served on toasted sour dough with a soft poached egg and salsa verde, or mains like Roast Saddle of New Season Lamb stuffed with spinach, wild mushroom and thyme (and did we mention puds like Warm Baked Pear and Almond Sponge Tart?) it’ll say ‘love you mum’ in spades.
It’s only available this Sunday, at £45 for adults and £25 for children, and it’s a treat that comes with the greatest gift of all, time together. But it’s not just on Mother’s Day that Carden Park’s a shoo-in for a winning destination.
It doesn’t matter whether your idea of heaven is relaxation with a muscle-melting massage, hitting a par 3 with your favourite 9-iron, or feasting on fabulous food, Carden Park can help you tick off any one of those (or all three if you really want to transport yourself to paradise!).
The luxury hotel and spa is the ultimate in escapism with a range of unforgettable experiences to indulge in – for yourself, with friends, or with your family. And we can guarantee that, with all this to enjoy, one visit will never be enough …
Set in gorgeous grounds

Overnight guests can stay in shape at the Hotel Leisure Club which has a hi-tech fitness area and indoor swimming pool with sauna, Jacuzzi, and steam room and, if you’re heading there on business, there are 18 meeting and event spaces for two to 400 people.
Kids come too!

Carden Park is the perfect playground for adults – but it’s also a great place for kids too, with fantastic packages and spacious family rooms. There are loads of free kid-friendly activities like walks through the Sculpture Garden, swimming in the 20-metre indoor pool, fun in the indoor games & craft room, exploring the wildlife across the estate, and watching a family flick in the cinema room. If it’s adventure you’re after you can take your pick from hi-tech golf games on the driving range, a Vertigo aerial adventure course featuring a dual zip line, Segways, archery, mini quads and more.
This Easter you can enjoy an eggstraordinary staycation at Carden Park, with children staying FREE on selected dates. New for spring 2025 and available exclusively for children staying over the Easter holiday are wristband activities ideal for younger guests, including indoor soft play (under 6’s only); arcade and gaming consoles; frisbee golf; Easter tote bag colouring, inflatable fun zone (weather dependent) and an Easter egg activity trail.
Fabulous food and drink

From classic à la carte dining to family favourites… you’ll find it all at Carden Park. Redmond’s Brasserie offers a relaxed and family-friendly dining experience with a wide selection of dishes, including many vegetarian options, while Elements Restaurant’s ideal for those wanting a glass of champagne, afternoon tea or a meal during their spa experience. Goldie’s Lounge is a place for calm cocktails and afternoon tea … and, for the ultimate in fine dining, The Vines is where executive chef Graham Tinsley MBE and head chef Harri Williams invite you to experience seasonal dishes and ‘theatrical magic’.
Tee-rrific times

Golf fans can challenge themselves to two of the most highly-regarded golf courses in the North West with pristine greens in stunning surroundings. Situated at the back of the estate, the Cheshire golf course has beautiful views across the estate and the bunkers have been designed to flow with the natural contours of the landscape. Or you may – read ‘will’ – want to experience the testing Nicklaus Course, designed by the great Jack Nicklaus and son Steve, which requires strategic moves to avoid the hazards along the way.
