Following his breakthrough win on Channel 4’s The Piano, Liverpool-born pianist Brad Kella has announced his debut UK headline tour, set to take place in September 2025.

The announcement comes after Brad Kella’s landmark sold-out performance at the Liverpool Philharmonic Hall in 2024 — a defining moment in a story that has captured the attention of audiences across the country.

The upcoming tour will see Brad perform in some of the UK’s most celebrated venues, including Manchester’s Stoller Hall and London’s Union Chapel. Each performance will be accompanied by a full string arrangement, promising a rich and emotive musical experience. Tickets go on sale at 10am on Friday 09 May.

Kella’s story is one of perseverance, talent, and extraordinary transformation. Raised in Bootle, Brad and his twin brother were placed into foster care at the age of seven following a difficult family environment. It was during these formative years that Brad’s natural musical ability began to flourish.

Despite early promise, life remained unpredictable. At 18, Brad found himself homeless, drifting through Liverpool’s streets. It was during this time that a chance video of him playing a public piano in the city centre gained traction online — eventually catching the attention of the producers of The Piano, who encouraged him to apply for the show.

Brad’s performances on the series resonated deeply with audiences and judges alike. He was ultimately named the winner by renowned pianists Lang Lang and Mika, marking the beginning of a new chapter in his life.

Brad said:

“Winning The Piano changed everything for me, it gave me a platform, but also the belief that I could really make music my life.”

Since that moment, his career has rapidly developed. Brad is now signed to Modern Sky Records — home to acts including Michael Head, The Coral, and Jamie Webster — and has performed at Classic FM Live at the Royal Albert Hall. In 2025, alongside planning his own tour, he’s also supporting Gary Barlow across the UK.

Brad’s performances are marked by a deeply personal style — a reflection of his journey. His music blends storytelling with accessible, emotive melodies, built on self-taught technique and a raw sense of authenticity.

With 2025 shaping up to be a milestone year, Brad Kella’s UK headline tour represents not just a career achievement, but the realisation of a lifelong dream.
