John Lennon’s 85th birthday show comes to Woolton this October

Woolton Village Club, a venue with strong Beatles history, will host a special night of live music to mark what would have been John Lennon’s 85th birthday.

On Friday 10 October 2025, Jimmy Coburn’s The Beatles & Lennon Experience will take to the stage for a tribute show celebrating John Lennon’s 85th birthday, his life and music. Presented by Tram Productions, the night promises a mix of Beatles classics and Lennon’s solo hits, performed by one of Merseyside’s top tribute artists.

Jimmy Coburn has been praised around the world for his uncanny likeness in both voice and style, with Lennon’s sister Julia Baird calling his performance “the best tribute to my brother out there.” Fans can expect an authentic, heartfelt celebration of one of music’s most iconic figures.

The evening also features support from Cathy Carter, special surprise guests, a DJ and late bar, all for just £12.50 a ticket.

The John Lennon 85th Birthday Show takes place at Woolton Village Club from 7pm on Friday 10 October 2025.
