Paranormal Activity stage show coming to Liverpool Empire in 2027
52 minutes ago
A stage adaptation inspired by the Paranormal Activity films is heading to Liverpool as part of its first UK and Ireland tour.
Paranormal Activity will run at the Liverpool Empire Theatre from Tuesday 27 April to Saturday 1 May 2027, bringing a new live theatre story based on the worldwide horror franchise to the city.
Written by playwright Levi Holloway and directed by Punchdrunk founder Felix Barrett, the production follows James and Lou, a couple who move from Chicago to London hoping for a fresh start, only to discover their past may not have been left behind. The show explores the idea that places are not haunted, people are.

After a sell-out extended run in London’s West End, the production is now heading out on tour. The stage version reimagines the ghost story with an immersive theatre approach designed to bring audiences closer to the action.
Combining live performance with cinematic-style storytelling, the show uses sound, lighting and visual effects to build tension and create a close-up horror experience. The creative team includes set and costume designer Fly Davis, illusion designer Chris Fisher, lighting designer Anna Watson, sound designer Gareth Fry and video designer Luke Halls.
Full casting is yet to be announced. The production is recommended for ages 15 and over.
Paranormal Activity is at the Liverpool Empire Theatre from Tuesday 27 April to Saturday 1 May 2027.
Tickets are available from atgtickets from Wesdnesday 25th February 2026.
