Brookes Bell to relocate to Princes Dock as Liverpool Waters continues to grow
2 hours ago
Global marine consultancy Brookes Bell has announced it is moving its Liverpool base to a new waterfront office at Princes Dock.
The firm will take up a 5,500 sq ft space at No.10 Princes Dock, marking the largest office letting at the site so far in 2026 and signalling continued growth for the business.
The move, part of the wider Liverpool Waters project by Peel Waters, will see Brookes Bell relocate to the top floor of the building following a full refurbishment.
It also places the company alongside a growing number of major names already based at Princes Dock, including CMA CGM and Global Ports Holding, as the area continues to establish itself as a key hub for maritime and international businesses.
The location was chosen for its close links to Liverpool’s maritime sector, sitting just minutes from the Port of Liverpool and Liverpool2 deep water terminal, as well as being home to both the Isle of Man Ferry Terminal and Liverpool Cruise Terminal.

Brookes Bell’s new workspace has been designed to support a more modern way of working, with open-plan layouts, improved meeting areas and shared spaces aimed at encouraging collaboration across teams.
The wider Princes Dock area is also continuing to evolve, with a growing mix of amenities including cafés, restaurants, a supermarket, leisure facilities and new attractions set to open later this year.
With more than 120 years of maritime heritage, Liverpool remains central to Brookes Bell’s global operations, and the move is part of a wider strategy to invest in its people, facilities and services.
Business Director Andrew Yarwood said: “This move is a really important step for Brookes Bell in Liverpool. Our business has grown significantly, and we needed a workspace that reflects how we work today and where we’re going next.
“Princes Dock gives us a modern, flexible environment that supports collaboration, while keeping us right at the heart of the city’s maritime community. Liverpool has always been central to our story, and this move underlines our long-term commitment to the city and the region.”
Senior Asset Manager at Liverpool Waters Liza Marco added: “We’re delighted to welcome Brookes Bell to Princes Dock. Their decision to relocate here is a strong endorsement of both Liverpool Waters and the quality workspace available.
“They join a growing community of leading international companies and innovative SMEs, further reinforcing Princes Dock’s role as a prime business location on Liverpool’s waterfront.”
The relocation highlights ongoing investment in Liverpool’s maritime economy, with Princes Dock continuing to attract major businesses to the city’s waterfront.
