Pantomime returns to New Brighton this festive season with a spectacular new production of Aladdin – and leading the charge is a name audiences simply can’t get enough of.
The unstoppable comic whirlwind Sean Jones is back for his seventh sensational year, stepping into the gloriously bonkers shoes of Wishee Washee – and bringing with him the kind of energy, laughter and heart that turns a festive night out into a lifelong family tradition.
Sean said:
“How ya doing gang? I’m back, baby! Returning for my seventh (or is it 6/7!) panto in a row at the Floral Pavilion, and I’m beyond excited to play Wishee Washee – definitely one of my all-time favourites.
“Mischief, mayhem and madcap fun are on the way, all set inside Twankey’s Laundry – which means I can finally get my washing done at the theatre instead of traipsing to Liscard laundrette! I can’t wait to see you all – it’s going to be pure magic.”
A true Floral favourite, Sean’s razor-sharp wit, impeccable timing and boundless warmth have made him an essential part of Christmas for thousands of families – the kind of performer audiences return for year after year. His unique ability to light up the stage, spark laughter across every generation, and create those unforgettable “you had to be there” moments has cemented his place at the very heart of the Floral Pavilion panto experience.

Pauline Campbell, Venue Manager at the Floral Pavilion, said:
“We’re absolutely thrilled to welcome Sean back to the Floral Pavilion panto for an incredible seventh year. Our audiences adore him – his comic energy, his warmth, and the joy he brings to the stage. It simply wouldn’t feel like Christmas without him.”
This year, the Floral Pavilion once again joins forces with the acclaimed UK Productions Ltd – one of the UK’s leading and most respected pantomime producers, renowned for delivering shows of exceptional quality across the country. It’s a show designed to bring families together, create lasting memories, and leave everyone feeling the joy and wonder of Christmas.”
