Catalyst Science Discovery Centre launches summer programme filled with family fun

From colourful experiments and science workshops to interactive exhibits, Catalyst Science Discovery Centre is inviting families to discover a summer full of curiosity, creativity and fun.

This summer, Catalyst is inviting visitors to swap rainy-day worries and summer holiday boredom for big reactions, bright sparks and hands-on fun. Whether it is hot outside, raining outside, or the children are already saying “I’m bored”, Catalyst has a packed programme of interactive exhibits, workshops and activities to keep young minds busy, curious and entertained.

With summer workshops available from just £2.75 per person in addition to museum admission, Halton residents able to visit for just £5 per person, and annual passes available from £12.95, Catalyst is offering plenty of big reactions for small prices this summer.

From colourful investigations and hands-on workshops to interactive exhibits and summer activities, visitors can expect science they can touch, test, make, explore and remember. Catalyst’s summer campaign celebrates the idea that big reactions do not need a big price tag – with plenty to discover under one roof, whatever the weather has planned.

Summer workshops give families even more reasons to visit or come back throughout the holidays. Workshop activities encourage children to learn through play, investigation and discovery, with opportunities to get hands-on and experience science in a fun and memorable way.

Catalyst is also highlighting its great-value offer for local residents, with Halton residents able to enjoy entry for just £5 per person as part of its community pricing offer available until the End of July. Proof of address is required.
