The line-up of Love Island 2026 contestants has been revealed – and there’s a Scouser in there!

The reality TV show is about to return for its 13th summer of love, and 21-year-old Robyn Langton-Quantrell is among the new singles heading to the villa.

Love Island is back on our screens from June 1 so if you’re a massive fan, that’s your next eight weeks sorted.

Ahead of the first episode, here’s everything we know about Robyn …

She’s a hard-working career girl

Robyn doesn’t just have one job, she’s got three. The former Liverpool College student has recently finished her degree in quantity surveying at John Moores Uni, so that’s her full-time career. But at weekends she also DJs, and she still finds time to teach DJing too.

That might seem like an unusual combination, but there was some strong reasoning behind her job choices.

With A levels in English, Business and Geography, she was looking for something a bit different that she could excel in, and realised quantity surveying was a very male-dominated job so going in as a female, she’d stand out and get noticed more. “I’m someone who can’t ever sit still, so with my personality and energy I couldn’t just have a typical office job, but with this you’re on site, in the office and going to events, so it’s great.”

Robyn added DJing to her CV when I was 16 and her mum got her DJ lessons from Amelia Preston in Liverpool. She started off focusing on private parties and has recently landed her first residency on Fridays at the Underground Gin Society on Castle Street.

She’s definitely not short on ambition or confidence

Robyn’s never appeared on a reality show before, Love Island will be her first, but she’s the first to admit that her whole life is pretty much like a reality show in itself. “Since I was younger all my friends and family have always said I was born to be famous, I’m a huge personality and I feel like everyone lives in Robyn’s world! In my head that’s how it works.

“I know I’ll do big things, I’m 100% sure in myself of that. I’m running my own businesses, DJing and teaching, and I’ve got a full-time career as well so the sky’s the limit for me.”

She’s looking for love – but is she a girls’ girl, or a lads’ girl?

Robyn’s actually a bit of both. Her sarcastic sense of humour means she always gets on well with boys – and now the men she mostly works with – and she reckons she can easily hold her own and give them a run for their money when it comes to banter.

But don’t expect her to put lads before her girls. That’s a big ‘no’. “I am ride or die for my girls. I’ve had the same group of friends since I was 11, I’ve never ever changed my friend group, so I’m not the kind of girl who gets with a lad and drops her mates. That’s my pet peeve, I’d never do that. My girls come before boys. Men are like buses, they come and go, girls are for life!”

What’s her relationship history like?

She’s had three relationships but only one serious one that lasted three years – the first two were while she was still at school.

She’s fiercely independent, so not a needy girlfriend, and likes a relationship where both partners get to do what they want to do when it comes to going out or going on holiday. Robyn says her love language is acts of service. “I’m that girl who makes sure all your clothes are washed for work, all the beds are changed, everywhere’s clean and the tea’s ready.”

How’s she likely to do with millions of Love Island fans judging her?

That really shouldn’t be a problem for Robyn, she’s pretty rock solid when it comes to what’s important and what’s not.

“The only opinions that matter to me are my family’s, my loved ones, because they’re the people who really know me inside out. If I’m doing something they don’t agree with I’ll take their opinions onboard, but not from people I don’t know or who aren’t close to me. Sticks and stones may break my bones, but names will never hurt me.”

Love Island starts at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX on 1 June
