Exciting news for book lovers as Liverpool Book Festival returns with a summer special at BOXPARK Liverpool on Sunday 2nd August 2026! With a few tweaks and improvements from organisers La Vida Liverpool, this third event is set to be even better than the previous two — with more going on and fantastic value for money!

Over 60 Authors & Special Guests

Once again, the festival will feature over 60 authors — with lots of new ones to mix things up. Spanning various genres and featuring some incredible independent and bestselling authors, as well as some publishers, it’s an opportunity to meet them and buy their books directly. Some familiar faces will be selling their books, including:

Celebrity chef Dave Critchley
SAS hero Rusty Firmin
Comic book legends Tim Quinn & Kev Sutherland
Crime bestseller Conrad Jones
Lots of other local independent authors, festival debut authors and publishers

An Array Of Artisan Stalls & Street Food

At Liverpool Book Festival Summer Special you can expect some amazing artisan makers, bakers and creators selling an array of artsy products — with some favourites from previous events and some exciting new ones. Meanwhile, BoxPark will again be offering mouthwatering food from their vendors and a fully stocked bar. You can expect….

Fascinating Talks & Film Screenings

Tickets to this next Liverpool Book Festival are set at a standard £15 and access all areas, meaning that everyone will have access to the talks in the BeatBox conference room throughout the day (please note that these are first come first served with 100 seats). There will be a wide range of fascinating talks and activities going on including:

Incredible Live Music

Once again, there will be some incredible live music on the day — featuring some of the region’s most talented artists. On the main stage, there’ll be beautiful acoustic live music followed by a DJ spinning Balearic beats — with live music on the outdoor terrace too! Music of the day includes:
