Liverpool John Lennon Airport has announced the appointment of Clive Condie as its new chairman.
The aviation and infrastructure expert joins the board at a time of significant growth for Liverpool John Lennon Airport, which continues to see record passenger numbers and expanding airline operations.
Clive brings extensive experience from senior executive, non executive and chairman roles across the aviation, infrastructure and logistics sectors. His previous positions include serving as chairman of London Luton Airport, alongside leadership roles with companies involved in airports across the UK and internationally.
The appointment comes as the airport prepares for one of its busiest years yet, with 20 aircraft expected to be based at the airport by various airlines for the first time.
Tim Power, Partner at Ancala, said: “Clive is a brilliant addition to our board and will build on the contributions of the previous chair, Robert Hough.
“Together, we are focused on helping the airport further expand its aviation and commercial services while building on its industry leading performance and customer service. We also remain focused on increasing the airport’s positive impact on Liverpool and the wider city region.”

Chief Executive John Irving, welcomed the appointment and said Clive’s experience would be a major asset as the airport enters its next phase of development.
He said: “We are delighted to have Clive join us as chairman as we look towards the next stage of growth at Liverpool Airport. His wealth of aviation experience will be invaluable in the coming years.”
Speaking about his new role, Clive Condie said: “Liverpool John Lennon Airport is a great success story and I am really looking forward to joining the board at this exciting time.
“I am honoured to be taking over from Robert Hough and working with John Irving and his team to play my part in contributing to the airport’s ambitious growth plans and the economic benefits they will bring to the Liverpool City Region.”
Liverpool John Lennon Airport has continued to strengthen its position as one of the UK’s fastest growing airports, serving millions of passengers each year and providing important connectivity for both leisure and business travellers across the region.
