Win a VIP Lightning Seeds Experience with Wirral Food & Drink Festival

The Wirral Food & Drink Festival brings a feast for the senses to Birkenhead Park this weekend and we’re got an amazing prize package to give away.

With more than 60 local vendors offering the finest food, drink and produce plus a whole host of celebrity chefs, cooking demonstrations, the FREE to attend Wirral Food & Drink Festival 2019 is a truly unmissable event.

Set against the backdrop of one of Wirral’s most celebrated and beautiful Green Flag parks, the free event includes more than 60 vendors offering mouth-watering food and drink, exciting entertainment and a family zone which will offer interactive activities for all ages. If all that wasn’t enough, there’s also the small matter of not one, but two incredible concerts which take place after the festival.

On Saturday the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra performs its only outdoor performance this year at Birkenhead Park. Expect a mesmerising programme of popular classics, show tunes and exciting film standards, under the baton of conductor, Richard Balcombe. Tickets here.

On Sunday night, Lightning Seeds will headline an incredible evening of live music in Birkenhead Park, hosted by our very own Jay Hynd, alongside iconic bands The Christians and China Crisis. Drawing from their chart-topping hits and classic tunes, these much-loved bands will be ‘coming home’ to Merseyside as the finale of an amazing weekend. Tickets here.

We’ve partnered with The Wirral Food & Drink Festival to take your experience to the next level. One lucky winner and a guest will win a VIP dining experience with food provided by Chef Paul Askew from The Art School Restaurant on Sunday 8th September.

This grazing board experience will showcase Chef Askew’s talents from his international adventures in addition to luxurious Charcuterie, cheese and dessert platters which can be shared on your table – including some local beer & wine provided.

If all that wasn’t enough the prize package also includes VIP viewing of Lightning Seeds, The Christians & China Crisis at Birkenhead Park on Sunday evening!

The VIP Dining Experience takes place at 5:30pm on Sunday 8th September with the Lightning Seeds concert following at 7pm. All you have to do to be in with a chance of winning is head over to our socials and follow the competition instructions.

Competition T’s & C’s

A winner will be chosen at random from all valid entries at 4pm on Thursday 5th September 2019. This competition is open to those age 18+ only. Winners must be able to attend the Birkenhead Park Festival site from 5:30pm on Sunday 8th September 2019.

The winner will be notified via social media with 24 hours of the competition closing. If we do not hear from the winner within 48-hours of them being notified, a new winner will be selected from the valid entries. You must be following The Guide Liverpool on the social media platform your entry is made to be entered into the competition. This prize has no cash value and cannot be transferred.
