What’s On This Week in Liverpool 8th – 14th April 2019

This is your guide to the best events in and around Liverpool.

This week in Liverpool is packed with film nights, quizzes, comedy and theatre, basically there’s something for everyone. Foodie wise there’s a brand new French pop up in the Georgian Quarter, we’re brunching all day on Castle St and there’s a Sunday roast and cabaret show on offer at Grand Central Hall.

It’s Martini o’clock at Tusk, Comedians take on Rappers at Hot Water, Brian McFadden plays the Cavern and the menacing Sweeney Todd is back in town on Hope Street. Anyone need a trim?

Monday 8th April

Brunch, Castle St Townhouse

From premium bacon butties (or bottomless brunch) to get you started and the likes of Rib Eye Steak, Pan Fried Salmon and more, we could quite happily dine at Castle St Townhouse all day long! More here. 

Monday Movie Night, Some Like It Hot, Dramshop

If you’re looking for a fab way to unwind after all the Grand National madness, head to Dramshop, Gradwell St and watch Marilyn do her thing in Some Like It Hot from 6pm. Free entry and free popcorn. 

Monday Night Quiz, Sanctuary Tap

Tuesday 9th April

Matthew Bourne’s, Swan Lake, Empire Theatre

If you think you know the story of Swan Lake, think again! The amazing Matthew Bourne’s Swan lake comes to the Empire from 9th – 13th April with an award-winning, modern take on a classic tale. Tickets here. 

Le Petit Marche, Free State Kitchen

We love a brand new food concept and now Free State Kitchen, Maryland St is launching pop up, Le Petit Marche on Tuesday at 9pm. Expect a delicious 5 course tasting French feast with each course paired with a stunning wine. More here. 

Harry Potter Quiz Night, Baltic Market

Where better to represent your house than in a huge quiz at the Baltic Market on Tuesday night? Last few tickets available for this mega quiz where someone will be crowned the king of quidditch. Tickets here. 

Wednesday 10th April

Lunch at Lunyalita, Royal Albert Dock

With the weather staying fine we’re going for a taste of Spain for lunch on Wednesday. Head to Lunyalita on the beautiful Royal Albert Dock for the finest and freshest tapas with a first class view.

Brian McFadden, The Cavern Club

Former Westlife star and regular at Bongo’s Bingo, Brian McFadden will be performing live at The Cavern on Wednesday night with tracks from his up and coming album. Info here. 

Lost at Hangar 34, End of Term

You know the script. Lost brings the biggest house, techno and disco to Hangar 34 on Wednesday for an end of term blow out. Cheap drinks and good times. Info here. 

Thursday 11th April

Unibet Premier league Darts, M&S Bank Arena
