We LOVE Brunch! 17 Liverpool eateries serving up the best brunch dishes
7 years ago
The all day breakfast got sexy and we can’t get enough of it!
Conquering the world, one continent at a time, this breakfast and lunch phenomenon has become an integral part of our weekend calendars since becoming popular in 1930’s America. Brunch is the perfect way to catch up with friends, enjoy a date with your special one and basically begin an epic all day session. Brunch is basically just enjoying traditional breakfast dishes from morning until early afternoon, with the additional cocktail! From the Upper East Side of Manhattan and the polo pitches of Dubai to the beaches of Brisbane and right back here in Liverpool, we love it.
Brunch etiquette has changed a lot over the years. Back in the 1930’s, brunch was a lavish event served at home, a kind of daytime dinner party and despite slaving away to cook all 6/7 dishes on offer, it was deemed unacceptable for women to drink at brunch and so mocktails were invented! Well we’re making up for it now ladies as more Liverpool eateries offer bottomless prosecco, mimosas and bloody Mary’s alongside your bacon butties!
Here’s 17 Liverpool eateries serving up the best brunch dishes….
