Liverpool mother-and-daughter entrepreneurs Angela and Harriet Maguire are proudly celebrating the first anniversary of The Events Agency.
What began as a passion project born from years of styling and coordinating events for family and friends has quickly evolved into one of the region’s most sought-after event planning, styling and coordination businesses. Over the past year, The Events Agency has delivered more than 100 events across the North West, transforming venues and creating memorable experiences for clients celebrating life’s most important moments.


The company has also enjoyed significant recognition within the Liverpool City Region business community, recently being named Downtown in Business Newcomer of the Year, a prestigious award that acknowledges outstanding business growth, innovation and impact during its first year of trading.
Since opening its doors, The Events Agency has worked on a wide range of occasions including weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, baby showers, gender reveals, corporate launches, fundraising events, private dining experiences and luxury proposal set-ups. Their commitment to creativity, attention to detail and personalised service has earned them a growing reputation for delivering exceptional events tailored to every budget and brief.
Based in Woolton, Angela and Harriet have continued to invest in expanding their extensive collection of styling stock and props, sourcing unique pieces from around the world. Their ever-growing inventory includes bespoke backdrops, statement lighting, personalised signage, luxury table centrepieces, floral installations and decorative accessories, allowing them to create distinctive and on-trend event experiences.
The agency has also become renowned for its high-end balloon installations, personalised neon displays and showstopping event features, working alongside a network of trusted entertainers and suppliers to provide everything from stilt walkers and human statues to acrobats and fire performers.
Reflecting on the company’s first year, Harriet Maguire, Director of The Events Agency, said:
