A life-size, 5.5m long model of Thomas the Tank Engine is spending 8 weeks in his new city-centre home, before returning to The Isle of Sodor after Easter. Thanks to Albert Dock children’s attraction , Mattel Play! kids (and big kids) can stop off for a selfie with the famous locomotive at St Johns from now until 10th April 2018.
There’s also a very special guest coming to visit Thomas in Liverpool as The Fat Controller will be paying regular visits to St Johns. With half term and Easter hols to come you might just meet him while out shopping. To hunt down Thomas this half term, simply head to the St John’s Shopping Centre entrance under the Radio City Tower and you’ll come face to face with the most famous train in the world, just over by the lifts.
Zachary Roberts-Kendall, commercial manager for Mattel Play! Liverpool, said: “We hope children and parents who grew up with Thomas will enjoy coming to St Johns to see him and stop for a photo. The Fat Controller will also be making regular appearances to meet Thomas fans young and old.
