Popular Italian restaurant, Il Forno, which recently reopened following a £300,000 refurbishment has seen a surge in bookings with diners wanting to sample its new Bocconcini bar menu.
In addition to the stunning refurbishment, award winning chefs at the Duke Street restaurant unveiled a delicious new Italian small plates menu, which is already proving popular with food lovers.
Some of the dishes on the new menu include a range of Italian inspired plates including a mouth watering parmigiana, a succulent pollo kiev and ravioli di cinghiale, all of which have been made with the freshest and locally sourced ingredients.
The costine di maiale, otherwise known as pork ribs marinated in a whiskey BBQ sauce, and the seared king scallops are also both hard to resist small bites.
Complimenting the new Bocconcini bar menu is a range of heavenly desserts as well as a variety of new cocktails.
Executive chef, Paolo Cillo, who has overseen the revamp of Il Forno said:
“The new Bocconcini bar menu is ideal for people who prefer a series of Italian tapas-style plates. It is proving incredibly popular both at lunchtimes and as a dinner option.
“We are delighted with the feedback we are getting about the Bocconcini menu, there is literally something for everyone on there.”
The Bocconcini menu is available every day.
