Already during 2020 the team behind Aintree Gin have evolved their business to create hand sanitisers and PPE for the NHS now it’s all about raising as much money as possible for Cash for Kids Mission Christmas by rowing 3000 miles at their Aintree distillery.
Aintree Gin, has teamed up with Cash for Kids Mission Christmas to launch the Aintree Gin Atlantic Challenge Fundraiser. Aintree Gin will be rowing 3000 miles on a rowing machine at their Aintree distillery.
This comes as Aintree Gin look to extend their charitable effort within the region, after doing significant work to help during the pandemic. The brand during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic converted its entire operations to producing sanitiser to help with the relief effort. Over 3000 litres of sanitiser was donated to frontline workers and charitable organisations.
The Aintree Gin Atlantic Challenge will commence on 9 November and aim to be finished in time for Christmas. This will be a collective effort and the company is looking for participants to help them reach their target.
Cash for Kids supports young people affected by poverty, abuse, neglect, life-limiting illness and those who have additional needs. Last year Cash for Kids raised £20.9 million across the UK.
Aintree Gin Director, Sean Roche said:
“We’re very excited to get started with the challenge, charity initiatives like Cash for Kids Mission Christmas do tremendous work to help families who are struggling. The pandemic has exacerbated the situation even more, as such, their help is needed now more than ever. We’re proud to be playing our part in this.
We need as many participants as possible to get on board and help us achieve our goal of completing the Atlantic challenge before Christmas, so I urge people to get in touch to help us with the challenge.”
