Moose Coffee is opening a new 70-seater restaurant at the Plaza 1821 residential development which will be located on the ground floor of the Regenda Groupâs ÂŁ21 million new waterfront project, which will enable diners to enjoy panoramic views of the historic Princes Dock, at Peel L&Pâs Liverpool Waters.
Open to both the public and residents, the new unit will be fitted out in Moose Coffeeâs signature style, offering a range of American and Canadian inspired breakfast dishes throughout the day.
The space complements the chainâs existing locations in Crosby and Liverpool City Centre, as well as in Leeds and Manchester.
The new partnership will also see exciting new training programmes developed between Moose Coffee and The Learning Foundry, a subsidiary of The Regenda Group, offering education and employment opportunities to local young people.
Michael Birkett, Chief Executive of The Regenda Group, said, âAs a much-loved independent local brand driven by strong values and ethics, Moose is the ideal commercial partner to join us at Plaza 1821. Weâre thrilled that our prestigious new development has attracted such a popular restaurant, and it further supports our commitment to building a thriving dockside community.â
On signing the lease, Nick Van Breemen, Director at Moose Coffee, said:
âItâs fantastic to be expanding the Moose Coffee brand to our new home at Plaza 1821 and to be a part of Liverpool Waters. This is a really exciting opportunity to bring our famous menu to a new neighbourhood in the city. We are delighted to launch our educational partnership with The Learning Foundry too, which will offer a programme of on-site accredited training to young people from across Liverpool.â
Liza Marco, Asset Manager at Peel L&Pâs Liverpool Waters, commented:
âWeâre delighted to welcome Moose Coffee to Liverpool Waters. Our Princes Dock neighbourhood is a thriving community with an ever-increasing number of new residents and businesses calling it home. Moose is a fantastic addition to the amenities at Princes Dock, making it one of the best places in Liverpool to live and work.â
Moose Coffee is the latest feature to be added to an already impressive list of facilities at Plaza 1821, from contemporary furnished apartments to a dedicated lounge for residents. The building is managed by Liverpool-based Redwing, a property agency specialising in sales, lettings and block management with over 50 yearsâ experience in city centre regeneration.
Work to fit out the new space will begin imminently.
