Abbey Road Bar & Kitchen is opening in Liverpool this month at the site of The Pen & Wig

One of the city’s old favourite watering holes will be coming back to life this Spring.

Abbey Road Bar & Kitchen will open at the end of March on Harrington Street at the site of  old favourite The Pen & Wig.

Harrington Street is already home to firm favourites such as the Croc and nightclub Kingdom and will soon have a new neighbour.

Abbey Road, in  the commercial district of Liverpool City Centre, is a sister site to the successful Harrison’s Bar & Kitchen on the corner of North John Street and Victoria Street which has been a huge success since opening last year.

Offering a great range of drinks as well as food the venue will have a 1 am license.

Nestled between Castle Street and North John Street it’s the ideal spot distance was for a pub lunch for the tens of thousands who work around the commercial area.

General Manager of the site Brandon Soprano said “ We are looking forward to rejuvenating an iconic old site amongst Liverpool’s pubs and bars with a new concept in the heart of the business district. We are ideally located for the after-work office crowd and we will be  showing all live sports. Our food menu is currently in planning and will be something we will offer on a daily basis, changing each season.”
