Dah dah dah dah dah dah dah, dah dah dah dah dah! Strictly is back and you can join in too!
The celebs have met the pro’s a coupled up to begin a rigorous training regime ahead of the 15th series of the BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing. Sure to get off to an emotional start as its the first series without the legendary Sir Bruce Forsyth, 15 couples will take to the floor for the first proper show on Saturday 23rd September 2017.
The line-up for this year looks awesome, some young bucks in actors Joe McFadden and Davood Ghadami, some musical talent including Alexandra Burke, Aston Merryfield and Mollie King and some old school charm and wit from comedian Brian Conley and presenter Ruth Langsford. You can check out the full contestant list here.
Merseyside’s very own entry into this years competition is none other than celeb chef and presenter Simon Rimmer. Snakehips Si, as we’ve already dubbed him has been partnered with World Mambo Champion and 2016 winning pro, Karen Clifton and having watched the pair in rehearsal, we’re hopeful they can bring that glitterball to Merseyside this December.
