Tony and Asa will join previously announced John Evans who will play Smee. In this, his third consecutive Empire panto appearance, John will bring his much-loved quick wit and hilarious comedy routines which Empire audiences have come to expect. John’s clever comedy has taken him across the world, entertaining the British Forces on a number of occasions, as well as becoming a firm favourite with the world’s major cruise lines.
Speaking on his casting, Tony Maudsley said: “It’s a huge honour to have been asked to join the cast of the Liverpool Empire panto. Growing up in Liverpool I know full well just how important panto is for the city, so to be back in the beautiful Empire and back on my home turf at Christmas is going to be really magical.”
