Black Cat Club to launch at Exchange Flags in Liverpool this May

A brand new all-day dining and entertainment venue is set to open in the heart of Liverpool next month.

Black Cat Club, an exciting concept that combines high-quality food, creative cocktails, interactive games and live sports, will officially open its doors at Exchange Flags on Friday, 9th May 2025.

This will be the third location for the Black Cat Club brand, following successful launches in Manchester and Leeds. The Liverpool venue will take over the former El Gato Negro site, transforming it into a stylish and energetic space designed for dining, socialising, and entertainment – all under one roof.

In the lead-up to the official opening, Black Cat Club is offering early access to a limited number of guests who sign up to its mailing list. Selected individuals will be invited to attend an exclusive preview event on Tuesday, 6th May, providing the opportunity to test the venue’s full offering – including interactive darts, shuffleboard, table games, as well as the kitchen and bar menu – before the general public.

The Liverpool food menu has been curated with social dining in mind, featuring pizzettas, gourmet burgers (with chicken and vegan options), and sharer plates such as buffalo cauliflower, salt and pepper ribs, and truffle honey halloumi popcorn. A weekday Express Lunch Menu will also be available from 12–3pm, offering wraps, sandwiches and burgers from £10 including a soft drink, or £12 with a draught beer or glass of wine.

Black Cat Club’s bar menu will feature a premium cocktail selection, including both timeless classics and innovative house creations. A dedicated margarita menu will cater to tequila enthusiasts, while an extensive list of beers, wines, and non-alcoholic options ensures there is something for every guest.
