A man has today, Friday 12th July, been jailed for 12 months following a road collision in Croxteth where a 13-year-old boy was killed.

Julie Dale spoke at a special event today aimed at educating young people about Violence Against Women and Girls, sharing her story after losing her daughter Ashley to gun crime in August 2022.
Around 80 girls from eight Merseyside schools came together today for an event hosted by Merseyside Police and LFC Foundation, the session is part of a wider campaign bringing VAWG awareness into secondary schools across the region.
