Itâs 1st December so that means The Elf On The Shelf is back, but this time itâs bigger than ever and weâre on the hunt for him in Liverpool City Centre. đ
Organised by Liverpool BID Company, the Scout Elf will be moved at night to various locations around the city centre from 1-24 December. People will be invited to seek out the Scout Elf each morning and snap a selfie as it embarks in some classic festive fun. On a Saturday morning, the Scout Elf will settle in a new spot for the weekend, before setting off to be found in a new place on Monday morning. â¨

The Beatles Story has launched a Bed-In this weekend to raise money and gather donations for local childrenâs cancer charity, CHICS.

In a tribute to John Lennon and Yoko Onoâs iconic 1969 Bed-Ins for Peace, The Beatles Story at Royal Albert Dock is recreating the famous protest as part of its seasonal charity drive.
The Beatles Story Bed-In launched today, inviting visitors to donate new pyjamas and essentials to support local children and teenagers facing cancer, in partnership with Liverpool-based charity Childrenâs Cancer Support (CHICS).

Dr. Jen Davies is from the University of Liverpool Management School, who are behind the project, and also a musician herself with @haarmband, told us all about it.

Led by the University of Liverpool and Liverpool John Moores University (LJMU), MusicFutures will, over the next five years, establish the Liverpool City Region as a music research and development (R&D) powerhouse and ecosystem.
The five-year funded programme, delivered by the Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC) on behalf of UK Research and Innovation (UKRI), will catalyse growth and innovation in Liverpool City Regionâs music sector. By focusing on driving R&D and innovation through emerging technologies as well as talent and business development, MusicFutures will supercharge the Liverpool City Regionâs already thriving music sector and future-proof the cityâs reputation as a global music city, ensuring its continued cultural and musical relevance on the world stage.
