Did you know there’s a world class, state of the art youth centre just a short walk from Liverpool City Centre? Come and explore FireFit Hub.

Liverpool’s Super Youth Zone, FireFit Hub is gearing up for a summer packed with inclusive, affordable sport, music and cultural activities for kids and their families.

The youth and community facility is run by the charity the Torus Foundation which provides services to help people improve their online skills, job opportunities, money management and health and wellbeing.

Based on Upper Warwick Street, this incredible facility boasts 3G astro pitches, a mixed use sports hall, dance and martial arts studios, fitness suite, gym, café, digital hub and more.

Open 7 days a week, the dedicated team offer a Youth Zone, Junior Club, SisterHub sessions and ‘Recharge’ a Health and Wellbeing Programme for adults. Junior Club is aimed at 6-10 year olds, Youth Zone for 11-21 year olds, Recharge is aimed at those over 40 and SisterHub is a female only group accessing activities such as Zumba, roller skating and gym sessions every Sunday afternoon.

The gaming area of the centre’s Chill Out Zone has recently been refurbished with new seating, big screen TV’s, games consoles and Sky packages for the young members to enjoy. Bring on the 2019-20 Premier League season!

FireFit Hub membership costs only £5 for their youngest members and £10 for those age 11+. This low annual cost ensures members of the local and wider community have access to amazing facilities that have far reaching health and wellbeing benefits. FireFit Hub is gearing up for a fun-filled summer and there’s a whole host of fun activities to get involved with.

Here’s 8 activities kids can take part in at FireFit Hub this summer and beyond…

1 – DJ-ing

Fancy yourself as the next big Liverpool DJ? Turn those wheels of steel at FireFit Hub or jump on the karaoke and unleash your inner diva.

2 – Roller Skating

The huge sports hall at FireFit Hub lends itself perfectly to a roller disco! Check out the Sisterhood Sunday sessions where the disco goes UV!

3 – Olympic Weightlifting

If you’re serious about lifting, FireFit Hub has amazing Olympic standard Weighlifting equipment and a top coach to help you reach your sporting and physical dream. Maybe even an Olympic gold?

4 – Kinball

Kinball is the new big thing in sport. Three teams, one giant ball and 4.8 million players world wide! A fast paced, team work orientated sport that is a great laugh!

5 – Street Cricket

Does what it says on the tin! Who needs all the technical equipment when a good old fashioned game of street cricket gets the blood pumping!

6 – Unisex Boxing

The boxing facilities at FireFit Hub are top class. Train the inner boxer in you to step into the FireFit Hub ring and show them what you’ve got.

7 – LFC & Everton in the Community Football

Both LFC and Everton in the Community run weekly sessions on the astro pitches at FireFit Hub so if you’re an aspiring red or blue nose, grab your boots and get a game.

8 – Gaming

The Digital Hub gives members the chance to improve their skills while having fun and getting competitive. Who’s up for Mario Kart?

FireFit Hub facilities are available to hire out. This fully accessible venue offers on-site parking, transport links to both the airport and Lime Street Station and brand new catering facilities.
