Duke Street Market is a space that holds various food outlets in Liverpool, based on Duke Street.
They have now unveiled a new Click+Collect service allowing guests to enjoy food from its different vendors to takeaway. Following lockdown, the market initially set about providing a drop off donation point for the hospitality industry and supported many workers as well as The Trussell Trust Foodbank.
Since then, the team has been working incredibly hard behind the scenes to reopen the 5000 square feet venue to the public. Having developed a new website where guests can visit to select dishes of their choice from the different vendors, the market is now open for Click+Collect orders only with all safe distancing measured adhered to including hand sanitising stations.
Currently, five of the six vendors are available for collection; Cinder is serving up dishes including Halloumi Sticks, Lamb Kofta Flatbread, Chicken Shawarma and a selection of DIY boxes packed with ingredients for guests to make their own meals at home.
Bone and Block has Lamb Croquettes, Reuben Sandwich, Flat Iron Steak Frites, 6oz Burger, Steak Sandwich and a DIY BBQ or Breakfast Box on its menu.
Ginger, which specialises in Asian food, is offering guests to tuck into Salmon, Tofu or Chicken Bimimbap, Chicken, Prawn or Sweet Potato Katsu Curry, Salt N Pepper Sui Mai and Salt N Pepper Tiger Fries.

And Cahita, formerly known as Cuban eatery Finca, has its signature Cubano, Cubano with Chorizo, Pulled Garlic and Mushroom Cubano, Fried Chicken and Mojo Mayo, Sweet Potato Fries and famous Cuban Doughnuts available.
To accompany the market’s extensive menu is a drinks list including a range of beers, fizz, a selection of organic white, rose and red wines and a special cocktail list of £6 each or four for £20 including Aperol Spritz, Pimms G&T, Barnamint Baileys, Strawberry Smash, Triple Citrus G&T, June Bug to name a few.
Duke Street Market will be open for collections on Friday 12th June 4-9pm and Saturday 13th June 12-9pm. Following this weekend, the days that the market is open and hours for collection will be reviewed weekly and may be extended as retail reopens and lockdown restrictions are lifted further.
Once an order has been placed, guests must arrive at the front entrance at their chosen time on Duke Street with their order number ready to collect their items. One person per household is permitted entry. Deli and retail items are available to purchase for guests collecting their orders.
