Eurovision parties you can book in Liverpool now

Europe’s biggest Song Contest is almost upon us, and with the city bursting with events parties it’s hard to keep track of how you can celebrate.

Eurovision is about to be one massive city-wide celebration with amazing events wherever you go, so if you want to make sure you don’t miss out here are 13 Eurovision parties you can book right now in Liverpool …

Lime Street Central

Join RuPaul’s Choriza May and special guest host and DJ Gladys Duffy for what’s being billed as the ultimate Eurovision Drag Party at Lime Street Central on finals night, Saturday May 13, from 6pm to 11pm. Expect singing, dancing, fabulous outfits and plenty of audience participation, plus a complimentary Bucks Fizz when you arrive.

Camp and Furnace

Camp and Furnace is going all-out for Eurovision as host of the official EuroClub. It all kicks off on Friday May 5 with the Abba Revival Tribute Show. Then there are screenings on the semi-finals and final nights plus EuroClub parties with a huge line-up of legendary Eurovision artists including Jedward, Conchita Wurst, Jemini, Nicki French and last year’s Ukrainian winners Kalush Orchestra.

Epstein Theatre

It’s full-on drag-tastic for Eurovision over at the Epstein too with Liverpool’s own Dame Fanny de Faux on hosting duties at Eurovision viewing parties for the semi-finals on May 9 & 11, and the final on May 13. There’ll be competitions, quizzes and a prize for the best dressed and it’s family friendly.

The Shankly Hotel

Did someone say drag party? Here’s another one up for booking, this time at the Shankly on finals Saturday where RuPaul’s Drag Race UK winner Danny Beard is the special guest. They’ve also got a DJ playing back-to-back Eurovision anthems, a glitter bar, food stall and live screening of the contest.

Liberté

Liberté is taking things out into its Sky Garden for a rooftop screening party with a waterfront view on finals Saturday. It’s on from 6pm through to 10pm in time for the winner to be announced, there’ll be DJs and entertainment as well as the live screening, and tickets include entry to the after party at Noir club.

Bombed Out Church

The Bombed Out Church is having a Eurovision screening party on finals night, although the first release of tickets was snapped up so there’s already a waiting list for that. If you missed out there’s still a chance to celebrate with the ultimate contest superstars because they’ve got Eurovision Disco Bingo on Friday May 5 packed with anthems, fancy dress, prizes and lots of dabbing.

Punch Tarmey’s

Ireland is the reigning champions of Eurovision with the most ever wins, so where better to test your knowledge of the contest than at Punch Tarmey’s? They’ve got The Big Eurovision Quiz Night on Saturday May 13, with six super-cheesy rounds of quizzing, dance-offs, prizes, glow-sticks, you name it.

Racquet Club

The Racquet Club on Chapel Street is just off the waterfront so it’ll be right at the heart of the Eurovision action. It’s throwing a live final screening party on the Saturday from 6pm with a Europop disco, themed drinks, a party bag, DJ and everyone gets scores paddles to dish out the points for each country.

Heebie Jeebies

Heebies is promising one of the biggest parties in the city on finals night and you can’t doubt that – Eurovision will be taking over all three floors from 5pm to 4am and there’ll be giant screens, confetti cannons and lots of special Eurovision themed cocktails and drinks to keep everyone going well into the early hours.

Blundells

Another RuPaul star is heading to Liverpool for Eurovision, and this time it’s Drag Race Sweden queen Antonina Nutshell who’s hosting the night at Blundells alongside the FunnyBoyz. It’ll be cheesy pop tunes, Eurovision classics and drag queen DJs all the way on finals night from 11pm to 3am.

Panam Albert Dock

There’s a ‘loud and proud’ dress code at Panam on Saturday May 13 for what’s being tipped as one of the biggest Eurovision viewing parties in the city. Expect a live DJ, themed drinks, party bags, interactive Instagram voting and a Europop disco that takes over after the winner’s announced and goes on until 2am.

The Bentley

Leanne Campbell is hosting for this one and there’s already got a waiting list so get on there if you fancy it and keep your fingers crossed. The Bentley is promising a finals night full of dancing, audience participation, live coverage of the contest, plus mayhem from resident hostess and DJ Jackie Barker.

Love Lane Brewery

Love Lane’s teaming up with drag queen Filla Crack for a whole week of Eurovision events. They’ve got screenings for the semi-finals plus a Drag Roast and Ultimate Lip Synch Extravaganza on May 10, Nana Funk’s Eurovision Quiz on Friday May 12 and Filla hosting a final screening party on the Saturday.
