Everything we know about the exclusive new bar opening on Bold Street

This December will see the birth of Little Green Door, a brand new guest-list only bar on Bold Street.

The new event space will operate on a guest-list basis with guests gaining access to the underground bar by inputting a special code into a panel to open the Little Green Door. 

What is the concept?

A spokesperson for Little Green Door said: “We want it to be an exclusive event venue – meaning the events are invite only… you have to RSVP through the guest list, it is the only way you can gain access to the code that lets you into the bar. 

“We will hosting and curating exclusive nights – we want to create something special for everyone who joins us at Little Green Door. We want to create a community of individuals, from Liverpool, who are in the entertainment industry, or are a creative – musicians, poets, comedians – we want it to be a creative hub. 

What type of events will be on? 

It’s not a bar that you can just walk in – they are exclusively an events space, so they will always have something going on when the bar is open. 

Little Green Door have the capacity to hold a band so it they believe it will be a great way to get our local creators to do open mic nights and give people a chance to showcase the talent we have in this brilliant city.

Monday to Thursday they will be hosting nights like comedy, poetry and open mic – and then Friday to Sunday will be the party vibes where people can just get down there and have a ball with DJ’s and live singers!

How do you get the code if you haven’t been invited? 

They said: “To get involved you can sign up on our website to get onto the mailing list to then gain access to the invites, and in turn access to the code to get into the venue. 

“It is also a security reason for us and other guests. So for example if anyone would behave in a way that is not within our values, they will be removed from the guest list and will not be able to gain access to the bar again. 

“Our guests safety is our number one priority!”

So are you allowed to just pop in? 

Little Green Door said: “The whole concept is first come first serve, so if you are unable to book for a particular evening, you can ring the doorbell and if there is space inside of course we will do our best to accommodate, but we can’t promise that.” 

Where is it? 

The bar is located at 108 Bold Street – Facing Bold Street Coffee. 

When can you get involved?

Little Green Door is open to the public for two-nights this year on Boxing Night and New Years Eve. This will be a ticket only event before their launch in February 2023. So you will have to check out their Instagram and sign up to their mailing list to find out more about these events.
