We know Liverpool’s a great place to visit with amazing attractions and tons of fab events – and soon you’ll be able to tour the city plate by plate!
Liverpool Restaurant Week is a food fiesta set to introduce you to some new – and familiar – eateries that are just waiting to be explored.
Beth Locke, engagement manager for Liverpool BID Company, said:
“This will be an incredible way to celebrate the diverse range of food and drink on offer across the city, and the perfect opportunity to try something new and pop into a venue that you may never have been to before.”
Here’s a taste of what you can look forward to …
What is Liverpool Restaurant Week?
Liverpool Restaurant Week is a seven-day culinary event taking place across the city to help you find new food favourites, discover hidden gems, share magical meals with friends and family, and soak up the buzzing vibe of Liverpool’s incredible bar and restaurant scene.
When’s it happening?
It’s taking place from Monday, April 22 to Sunday, April 28 – so there’s plenty of time to enjoy the city’s great culinary offering and hospitality.
Who’s organised it?
Liverpool BID Company has created the event to support our local hospitality industry and the people behind our famous Liverpool welcome – as well as give you ideas of where you can find a bit – well a lot – of food heaven!
Delicious deals
To help make sure you can enjoy eating out without it breaking the bank, BID has teamed up with many of the city’s top venues who’ll be offering some mouth-wateringly good deals:
For example, Chamber 36 is offering a curry with a small plate dish like spring rolls or vegetable tempura for just £15 and, for the same price at Laros, you’ll be able to get a gyros wrap, a fluffy dessert, and a drink.
Tempest on Tithebarn has got a collection of fab offers from any tea or coffee and a pastry for £5 and three small plates and a drink (soft or alcoholic) for £25, to a sandwich, dessert, and selected drinks for £15 and two burger meals and two selected drinks for £35.
You can treat yourself to two courses from the prix fixe menu and a glass of wine from the chic London Carriage Works and pizza and Prosecco for £15 at 1931 at Hope Street; and why not say ‘ola’ to great deals at Lunya and Lunya Lita, including wine or beer and a chorizo sausage roll for a fiver, and £25 for a whole Moritz Chicken.
Marco Pierre White at Hotel Indigo, Malmaison, Brewdog, The Botanist, Free State Kitchen, Radisson RED – Stoke, Gaucho and Hard Day’s Night are among the many others who’ll also be waiting to welcome you and wish you Bon Appetit!
Your Foodie Passport could win you the ultimate year-round feast
You can pick up your Foodie Passport from participating venues and start collecting #LiverpoolRestaurantWeek stamps when dining out throughout the week. Visit five restaurants during the week and you’ll be in with the chance of winning a meal out every week for a year!
With a Foodie Passport, which can be picked up at participating venues, diners just need to collect five stamps to enter the competition. The stamps can be from any Liverpool Restaurant Week offer, so for example:
On Monday, you could grab a £5 offer of coffee and a pastry at Bold Street Coffee
For Tuesday, for £15 get a two course lunch at Liu Shi
On Wednesday get over hump day and bring a friend for Cream Two for Two at Oh Me Oh My for £15
Thursday is almost the weekend, so celebrate with two courses and a glass of fizz at Restaurant Bar and Grill for £25
Go all out on Friday for a three course set menu at Hawksmoor for £35 with a snack and drink included
