Reminisce - The Guide Liverpool

Get your glow sticks and glitter ready, because Reminisce is just a day away.

The arenas are up and Sherdley Park in St Helens is set for an incredible anthem-packed day and night at Reminisce Festival 2024

This year the festival’s celebrating its 10th birthday so it’s going to be absolutely massive, with more than 120 DJs and artists over six arenas – including the 10,000-capacity main arena and the LoveHouse outdoor stage.

As always, it’s a sell-out, so if you’ve got your ticket here’s everything you need to know about Reminisce 2024 …

What time is it on?

Reminisce will be taking over Sherdley Park on Saturday, September 7 from 12noon to 11pm so get ready to party and dance the day – and night – away. It’s over 18s only so don’t forget to take ID.

Who’ll be performing?

The list is huge. It’s spread across six different arenas – The Reminisce Arena, Bounceback Arena, LoveHouse Arena, Garlands Arena, Legends Arena and Fezzy Pop Arena, as well as an extra VIP area with DJs including Andy Carroll, Mark Armstrong, Liam Hincks, Roger Da Silva, Kaci Lea Lynch, and Paul Bleasdale.

LoveHouse Arena – it’s all about the dancefloor divas with live PAs including Amanda Wilson, Holly Ellison, and Nikki Belle, as well as Beats by Tom and sax legend Jonny Crane. The DJ line-up features Anton Powers, Alan Hartley, Ant Armstrong, Lee Morrison and Jeremy Healy.

Garlands Arena – recreate some of those incredible Garlands memories with live appearances from Nikki Belle, Julie McKnight and Amanda Wilson, plus DJs including Dave Graham, Andy Mac, Les Calvert, Lil John and Rob Tissera.

Legends Arena – catch live performances from the likes of Rozalla, K-Klass, Oceanic and Beverley Skeete, plus DJs such as Paul Rimmer, Jay Viper and Lee Hall, and MCs.

Fezzy Pop Arena – Because he’s the one and only, Chesney Hawkes is back, along with Five, Damage, N-Trance and more. Among the DJs are Baz Todd, Dave Douglass, Davy T and Steve Weaver.

Can I find out what time my favourite artist is on?

Reminisce doesn’t release the times of individual artists in advance, so just get there early – that way you won’t miss a thing!

What’s the best way to get to and from Reminisce?

If you’re coming by car, there’s no parking on the site but there are spaces at the Co-op Distribution Centre off Lea Green Road (WA9 5AY/WA9 5AX).

The closest bus stops to the event are on Marshalls Cross Road. Arriva is running shuttle services to Liverpool (Brownlow Hill) between 10pm and 1am.

Lea Green train station is a few minutes’ walk away.

Is anything not allowed?

You can’t take in any kind of glass, so no perfumes, aftershave or foundation bottles, vape bottles or mirrors. You can’t wear tracksuits, novelty masks or anything that covers your eyes, or clothing that causes offence to others. Also on the banned list are aerosols, disposable BBQs, fireworks or smoke bombs, and drones.

And, here’s the biggie – you can’t bring your own alcohol onto the site. It’s always best to check the FAQs of the Reminisce website before you go so you’re not disappointed when you get there.

Can you smoke or vape on site?

It’s basic rules like everywhere else, you can smoke and vape in the open air but not inside the arenas or tents.

What about medical conditions?

If you’ve got a medical condition that means you need to bring your own food to Reminisce, or medication, then go to the ‘accessible lane’ when you arrive where staff will help, and might issue you with a medical wristband in case you need to go to the First Aid station at any point. It’s best to take a prescription or doctor’s note if your medication isn’t easily recognisable.

Is there any camping?

It’s only on one day so not for this festival. You can take a camping chair, but as larger items will be searched on entry, it might slow you down getting in. There are lots of unreserved areas on the site where you can sit, either in the park or undercover.

Can I leave my bags and stuff somewhere?

There is a cloakroom on site if you don’t want to cart everything around with you, but it’s first-come, first-served, and there is a fee.
