Monday nights just got awesome as Boston Pool loft offers up an opportunity to escape from the working week with virtual reality gaming….and it’s free!
Virtual Reality is a realistic digital simulation of reality and is the ultimate gaming platform, bringing gaming to life, you’ll feel like you’re actually in the game. Every Monday from 7-10pm Boston Pool Loft will be welcoming customers to try the most exciting new gaming technology thanks to Liverpool based gamers VR-Here.
Customers at the Fleet Street bar can sign up for free ten minute taster sessions by putting their name down for a time slot of their choice (subject to availability). Customers can play zombie shoot ‘em up, a shooter game set in space and experience the underwater beauty of TheBlu – a simple experience where the player will encounter jelly fish and a massive whale.
VR-Here is based off Vauxhall Road, just outside of the city centre, where they have their very own gaming arcade open throughout the week and weekends. Customers can play even more games and experiences, with group games available you can play paint ball against each other without the bruises! After successful pop up events at Camp Furnace’s Night Garden, the taster sessions at Boston Pool Loft will give people the chance to experience Virtual Reality at it’s very best.
Leszek Grzyl from VR-Here said “We use the HTC Vive VR headset with full room scale sensors which we bring and set up on our mobile sensor stands, the pool loft is a perfect location as it a great gaming hub, which we can add to with our VR experiences. The best part? The experience is absolutely free to try!”
VR-Here will be at Boston Pool Loft every Monday 7-10pm. For more info on VR-Here head to their Facebook page here. To check out the huge array of games such as pool, pong, snooker and televised sporting action at Boston Pool Loft, click here.
