Pride in Liverpool returns this weekend and it’s set to be one of the biggest celebrations the city has seen.

Jay & Gem are on The Spotlight Stage which one for this year at the Royal Albert Dock. See DJ’s and acts Saturday and Sunday, just next to The Pumphouse Pub.

CALDERSTONES BEACH & FUN FAIR IS BACK 🏖️🎡🎉

Calderstones Beach & Fun Fair is back for summer holidays and running everyday 11am-5.30pm, until 1 September.

You can find out just opposite the playground in Calderstones Park and there’s loads for you and the kids to do!

There’s a mix of rides and attractions perfect for toddlers, right up to twelve year olds with lots of new additions for 2024.

Kids can get up and show off their dance moves with Boogie Barry who’ll be hosting a free disco every Tuesday and Thursday between 1pm and 3pm.

Entry to the Beach & Fun Fair is £1 each, so if kids want to just play on the sand that’s all it costs. Every ride is one token and there are two saver deals available: a daily special which gives you 10 ride tokens for £25 and a super saver which is 30 rides for £60.

Municipal Hotel’s Seaforth Restaurant’s odds-on favourite with new summer menu. 😋

A succulent dish inspired by legendary racehorse Red Rum is one of the highlights of a new summer menu at the Municipal Hotel’s stylish Seaforth Restaurant. Its Cured North Atlantic Salmon starter uses salmon from local artisan supplier Christopher Crosbie.

Starters on the ‘Time to Dine’ lunch menu include smoked mackerel mouse, and soup – a mouthwatering watercress velouté with goat’s cheese bon bon and sorrel oil; and mains like panko fried breast of chicken with petit Caesar, pecorino shavings and truffle oil, and sea bass served with Thai coconut broth, Morecambe Bay shrimps, roasted carrot, pak choi, and crispy noodles.

Desserts include poached strawberries with Chantilly cream and honey tuille.👇

Liverpool’s music scene is set to ignite this summer as Jacaranda Records teams up with The Courtyard at Punch Tarmeys to host the city’s biggest Battle of The Bands competition, Warriors Of Rock.

The event promises to be a showcase of the city’s emerging talent, offering bands the chance to win a £2000 prize, a professional recording session, and a coveted slot at an upcoming Jacaranda Records show.
