Happy Grand National Eve! We’re getting the races party started with all your what’s on info for Wednesday.

Whether you’ve got your rollers in already, fancy a night at the theatre, or you’re looking to treat the kids before you have a huge weekend at Aintree, there’s loads of going on right across the city. Disney on Ice, Worlds of Enchantment lands at the Echo Arena, you can still book yourself a champagne breakfast ahead of your big day at the races (go on, make a day of it) and we show off the treasure chest full of treats from The Smugglers Cove, Albert Dock.

If you’re feeling brave and want to see the city from up high, you can join Kate & Simmo in taking on the Cash for Kids Skyfall, a freefall abseil from the top of the Radio City Tower (all 452ft of it) all in aid of Cash For Kids in May, details are here.
