Are you brave enough to Abseil 452 feet down the Radio City Tower?

For the first time ever, the general public are able to abseil off the Iconic St John’s Beacon, home of Radio City 96.7.

Radio City’s Superhero Skyfall takes place on Friday May 4th and Saturday May 5th 2018 and guess what we have surprised our Kate to take on the challenge!

Don’t miss your chance to abseil off one of Liverpool’s most iconic buildings with some of the best views of Liverpool.

We’ll have two ropes available so you can abseil together with friends or family in pairs. Professional abseilers will be there to assist you from start to finish and answer any questions you have.

Radio City Tower

Carole Clare, Charity Manager of Radio City Cash for Kids said, “Since joining the charity 9 years ago, it has always been my dream to host an abseil down the Radio City tower and I’m delighted that we are partnered with St Johns Shopping Centre and are able to offer this out to the public. As two iconic brands, which sit at the heart of the city, it is fabulous that we are going to be able to support our local underprivileged and needy children through the funds raised. We get enquiries from people all over the world every year about abseiling off the building so I’m very excited that we can say YES. There will only be 100 places available across the 2 days so we expect them to fill up very quickly, so don’t miss this once in a lifetime opportunity!”

Neil Ashcroft, St Johns Shopping Centre Manager said, “We’re extremely excited to be partnering with Radio City’s Cash for Kids for this fantastic event. I already have my superhero suit at the ready! At St Johns, we always strive to play an active part in the community, and work with local people to help improve lives wherever possible.”

The Abseil will be the highlight of Cash for Kids annual Superhero Day, sponsored by Reeds Rains, money raised will be given back out in grants to charities such as St Johns Shopping Centres charity Zoe’s Place, community groups and organisations that support underprivileged and disabled children right here in Merseyside.

We would like to invite anyone participating in the abseil to get into the spirit of Superhero Day and dress up as your favourite Superhero!

To register visit www.radiocity.co.uk/abseil and complete the registration form.

Please note there is a non-refundable registration fee of £100 when you sign up and you need to raise a minimum sponsorship of £400 sponsorship to be paid by the day of your abseil.
