Formby Hall Gold Resort & Spa has launched a new Al Fresco dining menu that is perfect for your next summer outing.
Formby Hall Golf Resort & Spa’s taste of the Mediterranean, “The Patio – Al Fresco Dining” has launched its new summer menu.
Overlooking the 18th hole on Formby Hall’s Championship Golf Course, visitors to The Patio can enjoy the great British summer under a chic canopy complete with fire pits, cozy chairs, sofas, tables, blankets and a new menu of small, tapas-style plates and wood-baked pizzas.
The small plates menu includes Mediterranean favourites Garlic and Herb Prawns and Spiced Chorizo Sausage, together with the fresh, summer flavours of Feta, Pomegranate & Pine Nut Salad, Tzatziki Baked Flatbread and Deep Fried Goats Cheese. All small plates are £6.95 each or 3 for £17.
Pizzas are freshly prepared and cooked al fresco in a wood-burning oven with a menu that has a little something for everyone; classics like Margherita and Americano will suit the pizza purists, and Prosciutto Crudo e Rucola, Pesto, Mozzarella & Pine Nut and Duck, Hoisin & Spring Onion will tempt those feeling a little more adventurous. Pizzas are available from £14.95 each.
Patio guests can also sample a host of soft drinks, beers, wines and spirits, including Formby Gin and a variety of refreshing tonics and a summer cocktail menu comprising Mojito, Long Island Ice Tea and Pink Raspberry Spritzer. Cocktails start from £8.50 each.
A Wimbledon special launches on the Patio on Monday 27th June for the duration of the tournament. Guests can enjoy Strawberries & Cream, Eton Mess and High Tea with Lauren Perrier Champagne.
