Ice Cream Farm launches biggest ever Christmas Schedule

The ho-ho-ho-liday season has launched at the UK’s biggest ice cream-themed attraction, bringing festive family events for one and all.

Three Special Educational Needs (SEN) Santa’s Grottos are included on the calendar of events, creating an inclusive space for families. Alongside free entry to an indoor play area that makes a trip to the farm more affordable for visitors on a budget.

Of course no trip to the Tattenhall attraction is complete without a scoop of award-winning Cheshire Farm Ice Cream; enjoyed in either the Guinness Book of Records’ ‘world’s largest ice cream shop’, or next door at the world’s first Ice Cream Drive In.

On the menu there is a selection of new hot desserts and specialty flavours including: Cherry Cola, Stem Ginger, Raspberry Pavlova, Cointreau & Orange, Christmas Pudding, Mince Pie, Orange Sorbet and Champagne Sorbet.

CEO and Owner Jonathan Fell said:

“Our biggest ever schedule of Christmas events is all about ensuring The Ice Cream Farm is a place to make memories as a family, whatever yours looks like,”

“There is Storytelling with Santa for little ones; a family Winter Escape Room the big kids can join in with; three SEN Santa’s Grotto sessions for children who require a quieter experience; and of course our Ice Cream Drive In where you can pop in with family and friends for a warm pudding or hot chocolate in a festively lit setting.”

Once again this year the team will be taking Santa Claus, Cookie the Elf and dozens of Cheshire Ice Cream Farm diddy tubs to a selection of nearby primary schools to give local schoolchildren a free Christmas experience. Large Cheshire Farm Ice Cream tubs have also been donated to the Lache Larder food bank, and The Ice Cream Farm has been designated as a rural drop-off point for the Chester Kids’ Bank Christmas gift appeal.

Managing Director Katie Lewis said:

“Christmas is traditionally a time for giving and we’ve tried to use the resources and space we have available to us to spread a little joy in our local community,”

“That also means that, commercially, we’ve put value* at the heart of our Christmas schedule for 2023, so all visitors, whatever their budget, can enjoy some festive Ice Cream Farm cheer.”

Christmas events start on December 2nd and run till December 24th.
