It’s the last chance to skate at the Liverpool Christmas Ice Festival this weekend and if your New Year goal is to lose a few pounds or even to just be a little healthier, why not head down for a fun skating session whilst working up a sweat?
The Pier Head festival, which closes after this Sunday 7th January until November 2018, has a fantastic ice rink with a stunning waterfront backdrop and is the perfect place to bring the whole family to dust off the Christmas cobwebs.
Open across the entire weekend from 9am-10pm (last skate 9pm), come and visit to get active whilst having a fun filled family weekend.
Spend some quality time before the children head back to school whilst also burning off a chocolate bar or two as according to My Calories Burned, Spark People and Fitness for WeightLoss, an average person can burn around 400 calories for a moderate 45 minute skating session.
The Liverpool Christmas Ice Festival is the perfect place to put your goals into practice and enjoy a 45 minute skate before it closes for another year.
After you’ve skated your way around the ice, don’t forget to head to the Ice Slide – the UK’s biggest real ice slide, the enchanted forest-themed Ice Bar, fairground rides and market stalls too.
