Last chance to get your Sunday roast at The Watering Can
8 months ago
As the season draws to a close, The Watering Can in Greenbank Park has been delighting diners from across the North-West with their famous Sunday Roast that’s ‘As good as ya Maâs’.
With just one more Sunday left before The Watering Can switch to their Spring/Summer menu, now is the time to get booked in.
Throughout the season, The Watering Can has served over 2,500 of their signature roasts, showcasing succulent chicken supremes, expertly roasted beef rump, fluffy potatoes, honey-roasted carrots, and all the trimmings. Their homemade gravy, crafted over three days, adds the perfect finishing touch to this comforting meal.
Recently crowned winners of the Liverpool City Region Tourism Awards for Café/Bistro of the year, The Watering Can team is preparing for one final busy Sunday before unveiling their new menu on April 15th.
Keith Perryman, owner of The Watering Can, said:
“The team are passionate about serving a Sunday Roast that feels lovingly home-made. This roast season has been our busiest yet and our customers have travelled far and wide to enjoy them.Â
“As we are a relatively small venue we like to refresh the menu for the spring and summer months to ensure that over the year, we are keeping things fresh and interesting for our customers.Â
“The new menu will be bursting with seasonal produce and include some spring/summer customer favourites.”
Don’t miss your chance to savour The Watering Can’s legendary roast. Booking is highly recommended as places are filling up fast.
And fear not, while the roasting tins may be stored away temporarily, stay tuned for the much-anticipated ‘Return of the Roast’ later in the year.
