Last minute Christmas shopping – the Liverpool gifts and experiences you can sorted right now!

Not quite managed to get all your Christmas pressie shopping done yet?

We’re not judging, in fact it could be a good thing, because there are loads of places where you can get fantastic original gifts and help support local businesses too.

So, if you’re up for a festive win-win this year, here’s 11 places where you can shop local this Christmas at these Liverpool gift stores …

Merseymade

Liverpool’s packed with amazing creatives and lots of them are under one roof at Merseyside on Paradise Street, at the end of Hanover Street. There’s retail space where you can buy anything from ceramics and artwork to handmade beauty products, and because Merseymade has studios you can often meet the makers too – plus there’s a café with fabulous homemade cakes. Open from 8.30am to make an early start.

The Art Quarter Liverpool

Inside Metquarter, you’ll find a lovely Christmassy selection of arty gifts all made by a super-talented co-operative of local creatives including lots with a Liverpool or Wirral theme so you can give them an extra personalised touch. You’ll find fabulous artworks by textile collage artist Sandra Hepworth and city landmark prints by Freida McKitrick among others and a great choice of original design Christmas cards.

Liverpool Gift Gallery

If you’re out West Derby way there’s no need to head into town to find a fantastic range of products from local independent artists, designers and makers. Liverpool Gift Gallery on Mill Lane has Liverpool and non-Liverpool gifts, Beatles and footy ones, and even a few specific West Derby ones so you can go hyper-local. They specialise in original artworks and they offer a framing service.
