Learn something new at these 6 Liverpool Night Schools

It turns out you definitely can teach an old dog new tricks and we can prove it.

Whether you’re looking to retrain for a new job, fancying learning a little more than ‘Uno Beer, por favour’ for your next trip to Marbs or maybe you want to learn a new creative skills like painting or relaxing Tai Chi? From Business studies to pottery and everything in between, Liverpool is a melting pot of opportunity when it comes to learning and gaining qualifications, post school.

We’ve rounded up the best Liverpool night schools offering adult courses that might just inspire you to try something new…..

1 – Hugh Baird

If you’re looking to get back into education or continue your studies, Hugh Baird College, Bootle might be the perfect place for you. 2 – City of Liverpool College

Every fancied designing and making your own bra? Maybe a short course in fine dining is your bag? Or how about an introduction or brickwork or carpentry? 3 – Blackburne House

Could you teach the next generation of youngsters in the city? Blackburne House, located in the beautiful Georgian Quarter offers a range of courses specifically for women, and currently there are teaching training qualifications at both levels 3 and 4 on offer during afternoon and evening sessions. 4 – Liverpool Adult Learning Service

Run by Liverpool City Council and with venues right across the city, the Adult Learning Service offers Free English and Maths courses, Languages (inc Polish, Arabic, French and Spanish), Creative courses and so much more during evening sessions from 6:30pm. 5 – University of Liverpool

Did you know there’s a whole host of short courses, lectures and events available through the Continuing Education programme at the University of Liverpool? From script writing, presentation skills and and evolutionary psychology to piano and keyboard sessions, politics and the Russian revolution.
