LEGOLAND Discovery Centre Hosts World's Smallest Eurovision

LEGOLAND Discovery Centre Manchester is celebrating this year’s Eurovision Song Contest by throwing the world’s smallest party – made entirely from LEGO®.

As we approach the Eurovision grand finale, LEGOLAND Discovery Centre’s Master Model Builder, James has been working tirelessly to create a micro-masterpiece of the long-awaited celebration.

The scene, which took over 18 hours, includes the Eurovision stage consisting of over 6000 bricks, a crowd of cheering spectators and the UK and Ukraine flags – paying homage to last year’s champions.

The LEGO display also features a mini-Mae Muller – the 25-year-old singer songwriter from London who will take to the stage as the UK’s candidate this year.

This 67^th edition of the international singing competition is being hosted right here in Liverpool, the streets of which have been replicated in the tiny celebratory scene to mirror the full-scale event.

The mini-party is a new addition to LEGOLAND Discovery Centre Manchester’s MINILAND, which is home to miniature versions of Manchester, Blackpool and Liverpool.

As well as the stage, the Liverpool MINILAND scene also features prominent sites from the city, including the Liver Building and the Royal Albert Dock.

“It is a privilege for the UK to be hosting the Song Contest for the first time since 1998 and we’re honoured to mark the special event with the world’s smallest Eurovision party here at LEGOLAND Discovery Centre Manchester.

“Our mini figures have lined the streets of Liverpool in the site’s MINILAND to celebrate the song contest and our nation’s entry – (mini) Mae Muller. The display not only includes the adoring fans, but also the Eurovision stage too.

“Our Eurovision celebrations will be on display in MINILAND throughout the song contest, right up until the grand finale, we can’t wait to welcome our guests to the attraction and enjoy the world’s smallest Eurovision party!”
