LIMF TV: Astles returns to play LIMF 2018

Winner of the Merseyrail Sound Station competition and LIMF Academy graduate, Astles joins the LIMF 2018 line-up.

He’s made his mark at Liverpool International Music Festival through the LIMF Academy and playing through the torrential Friday night rain at last years festival and now Astles cannot wait to return to play the ItsLiverpool Next Gen stage on Saturday 21st July 2018 at Sefton Park to kick off two days of incredible live music.

Watch above as Jay finds out more about what lies ahead for Astles and if he’s secretly, DJ Jazzy Jeff’s biggest fan.

Inspired by the likes of Jeff Buckley, Billy Joel, Pink Floyd, Bon Iver, Nirvana and David Gray, young singer/songwriter and musician, Dan Astles has a way of writing lyrics that tell stories we can all relate to. With debut EP ‘Full of Wonder’ now available to download and a jam-packed 2018 gigging schedule supporting the likes of Seprona, Astles has come a long way since releasing ‘Live at The Nordic’ a little over a year ago and winning the Merseyrail Sound Station competition back in 2016.

You can find out more about Astles’ music, download ‘Full of Wonder’ and check out where you can see him live at www.soundcloud.com/astlesmusic or follow him on Twitter @astlesmusic for regular updates.
