Liverpool Philharmonic Hall to host huge Eurovision-themed party and screen the final live

Eurovision is coming to Liverpool with the big final taking place on Saturday 13 May. Liverpool Philharmonic is the latest venue in the city to announce that it will be screening the contest and hosting the ultimate Eurovision Final Party.
Each ticket includes a flag and two glasses of fizz waiting for you at your seat with the huge Philharmonic Hall screen over the stage.
Bars will be open throughout the evening, even serving a special Ukrainian-themed Buck’s Fizz. Eurovision fancy dress costumes are strongly encouraged, and there’s even a prize for best dressed!
Want to keep the festivities going after the contest is over? Liverpool Philharmonic’s Music Room will host an exclusive Eurovision After Party with Liverpool DJ royalty Chris Carney. Chris, a part of renowned DJ collective Mixnots, who have played Glastonbury five years in a row, held residencies at the biggest bars all over the city and he is a big fan of Eurovision. A free drink is included with every ticket to the after party.

This event will complement Douze Points!: Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra Eurovision Hits in Concert on Friday 12 May. The Orchestra, conducted by Richard Balcombe and joined by incredible vocalists, takes a trip around the continent, performing Eurovision favourites such as ‘Waterloo’, ‘Boom Bang a Bang’, ‘Rise Like A Phoenix’, ‘Stefania’ and many more. The concert will be hosted by broadcaster Owain Wyn Evans.

Liverpool and the BBC will kick the official countdown off this month with the first event in the season.
Presenters Rylan and AJ Odudu will welcome viewers to BBC Two and BBC iPlayer on January 31 (1900) for the Eurovision Handover and Allocation Draw.
Taking place in host city Liverpool and in front of a live, invited audience this exciting event will determine which country will compete in which Semi-Final of the Contest when it takes place in May as well as deciding which Semi-Final the ‘Big 5’ (Spain, United Kingdom, France, Germany, Italy) and 2022 winners Ukraine will vote in.
