Liverpool’s newest steakhouse Gaucho has taken the city by storm and has big plans for Boxing Day and NYE

Gaucho has arrived in Liverpool!
Award-winning steak restaurant, Gaucho, officially opened its doors on November 23, and has so far been over-whelmed by the welcome it has received from the city.
The launch event saw over 600 people come through the iconic tiger-head doors, including some celebrity fans!
Celebrities included ex-footballers Ian Rush and Peter Reid as well as Dr Ranj and Jennifer Ellison. At both events the team at Gaucho had an amazing raffle that guests could take part in to help raise money for Alder Hey Children’s Hospital. The restaurant has pledged to donate at least £10,000 to fully fit two parents’ rooms in the hospital’s new neonatal unit.
Dimitri Prassinos, general manager of Gaucho, said:
“These last three weeks we have been the busiest restaurant in the city! We have been fully booked – it has been an absolutely fantastic launch.
“We have a great PA system here, so we do residencies with different DJs – it is really cool of a weekend… and Boxing Day and New Year’s Eve is going to be no exception to that.”
The restaurant has launched Gaucho Lates, just in time for the Christmas party season. This Boxing Day and New Year’s Eve Gaucho Lates will bring the party and the culture of modern Argentina to Liverpool – with DJ’s, entertainment and live music!
Boxing Day
Boxing day is the perfect occasion to assemble the crew for a fun filled evening in stunning surroundings. Gaucho will be bringing sparkle to the city with drinks, dining, DJs, live music, and entertainment. Step inside the stunning Grade II listed building for pre or post drinks in their late-night cocktail bar, where they will be serving the finest wines and signature cocktails.

New Year’s Eve
The most important date on the party calendar is nearly upon us, and this year, New Year’s Eve falls on a Saturday, which means double the fun! Gaucho are open 12pm – 2am to accommodate diners, drinkers and celebrators! They’ll be open from 12pm till 2am for dinner, drinks and celebration. Rest assured, the team will keep your evening brimming with lavish cocktails and delicious food, as well as DJs, live music and entertainment to ring in the new year. Gaucho have also launched a festive menu, so be sure to check this out alongside these show-stopping events! You can tuck into the likes of Chestnut & Parsnip Soup, Turkey with Pork & Chicken Stuffing, drizzled with Red Wine & Cranberry Jus, your main course is served with seasonal side dishes: three little pigs, carrots and roast potatoes! No festive menu would be complete without a Christmas pud and Brandy Sauce. There is a great selection on the set menu that will have something for everyone.
The three course festive menu is priced at £55 per person with vegetarian and vegan options available.
As part of their roadmap to becoming net zero, the beef offering in their venue is 100% carbon neutral. They work to reduce their carbon footprint at source, and have partnered with the ‘Not For Sale’ charity to support carbon offsetting reforestation projects in the Amazon, taking local people out of danger of modern-day slavery.
