Gaucho has arrived in Liverpool!

Award-winning steak restaurant, Gaucho, officially opened its doors on November 23, and has so far been over-whelmed by the welcome it has received from the city.

The launch event saw over 600 people come through the iconic tiger-head doors, including some celebrity fans!

Celebrities included ex-footballers Ian Rush and Peter Reid as well as Dr Ranj and Jennifer Ellison. At both events the team at Gaucho had an amazing raffle that guests could take part in to help raise money for Alder Hey Children’s Hospital. The restaurant has pledged to donate at least £10,000 to fully fit two parents’ rooms in the hospital’s new neonatal unit.

Dimitri Prassinos, general manager of Gaucho, said:

“These last three weeks we have been the busiest restaurant in the city! We have been fully booked – it has been an absolutely fantastic launch.

“We have a great PA system here, so we do residencies with different DJs – it is really cool of a weekend… and Boxing Day and New Year’s Eve is going to be no exception to that.”

The restaurant has launched Gaucho Lates, just in time for the Christmas party season. This Boxing Day and New Year’s Eve Gaucho Lates will bring the party and the culture of modern Argentina to Liverpool – with DJ’s, entertainment and live music!

As part of their roadmap to becoming net zero, the beef offering in their venue is 100% carbon neutral. They work to reduce their carbon footprint at source, and have partnered with the ‘Not For Sale’ charity to support carbon offsetting reforestation projects in the Amazon, taking local people out of danger of modern-day slavery.
