Mother’s Day in Liverpool is always huge with parties across the city and tasty food for your Mum to enjoy!
Mum’s the word on March 27 and with less than two weeks away until you say ‘thank you’ to the mother figure in your life, it’s time to get planning a very special treat.
A three-course meal, a fab afternoon tea, or an Abba-fest? There’s loads to choose from.
So for those still pondering what to do this Mother’s Day, here’s a few fab ideas (and don’t forget, the best bit is you get to go too!).
Lerpwl
For the ultimate Mother’s Day lunch, Lerpwl’s luxury three-course Sunday Sharing menu is just the thing to help celebrate your special person. You can enjoy a fine-dining experience from £50 per person with a magnificent menu which includes Dry-Aged Roasted Duck, Line Caught Sea Bass or BBQ Aubergine.
Camp and Furnace – Mam-and-me-ah
You can dance, and you can jive – because Camp and Furnace is hosting an ABBA-themed brunch this Mother’s Day with a tribute band, bottomless prosecco and more.
The ‘Mam-and-me-ah’ event will feature live performances from ABBA Revival Tribute, and you can sing along to the group’s greatest hits. Each person gets to enjoy one brunch dish, 90 minutes of bottomless prosecco, and a selection of beers and soft drinks. (Note – it’s for 18s and over only and costs £36 plus booking fee!)
Scouse Ma’s Big Night Out
Less of a menu more of a massive Mother’s Day party! Scouse Ma is taking a break from social media for the night to throw what’s shaping up to be Liverpool’s biggest, Scousest Mother’s Day party. She’s taking over Invisible Wind Factory on Sunday March 27 alongside Ultrabeat and a line-up of DJs, games, prizes and lots of surprises.

Revolution
Get those flares from the back of the wardrobe and join Revolution for a 70s/80s-themed Boozy Boogie Brunch. From £40 per person, you can indulge in 90 minutes of bottomless drinks accompanied by a delicious brunch dish to get those tastebuds tingling. There’s a DJ, dancers and Mother’s Day treats on offer, so prepare to dance the day away in this Boogie Wonderland.
30 James Street
Because she deserves the best! 30 James Street invites you to a luxury afternoon tea in the Grand Hall this Mother’s Day, where you’ll receive a cocktail on arrival, before sitting down to live entertainment and luxury afternoon tea for £29.95.
Murphy’s Gin Distillery and Bar
Oh, we’re loving a bit of the Abba this Mother’s Day!! Murphy’s Distillery & Bar is also hosting an afternoon tea with a scouse twist and an ABBA tribute band on March 27.
Waterloo Live will be entertaining guests while they’re treated to an afternoon tea Scouse-style with Scouse Balls, Peawack Puffs, Dockers Lunch (bread with ham, cheese and pickles), and Knotty Ash Jam Butties – fresh from the Jam Butty Mines – along with dessert of Liverpool Judy, Wet Nelly, and scone with jam and cream – well, no afternoon tea would be complete without a scone!
It costs £35 per person, and Murphy’s Gin will be served in a China teacup!
Lunyalita
Visitors to Catalonian-inspired restaurant, Lunyalita can enjoy the sun-drenched scents of the region with the views overlooking the rippling waters of the Dock. They’ve got cook from home Mother’s Day gourmet banquets from £79, and mums dining at the restaurant will recieve a gifted box of chocolates to make them feel extra special.
Titanic Hotel Liverpool
You can tuck into a sumptuous afternoon tea on Mothering Sunday in the elegant setting of Stanley’s Bar and Grill, overlooking Stanley Dock. It starts at £23 per persono for a traditional afternoon tea of finger sandwiches, freshly-baked scones and cakes, with the option to add prosecco for an extra £5, all from 12:30pm-5pm.

The Watering Can
This Greenbank Park gem is offering a three-course set menu this Mother’s Day with starters including grilled scallops, and mains including rump steak burger, seabass fillet, chicken with triple cooked chips, and butternut squash risotto.

LEAF Ballroom and Brunch
Take your partners please for a Mothering Sunday event that’s strictly fun! LEAF in West Kirby is hosting a Ballroom and Brunch event which includes a one-hour dance class with choreographer James Wilson.

One Fine Day
The Old Hall Street venue can’t wait to welcome you to its Mother’s Day Brunch from 11am until 2pm.
Guests can look forward to a two-course menu and a Mum-osa or non-alcoholic elderflower fizz on arrival, along with music from Victoria Sharpe on the grand piano. A Slower Space from Penny Lane will there with a pop-up flower stall, and Daughter of Dawn will be hosting a modern calligraphy workshop on the mezzanine level.

If your mum’s got a competitive streak then she’ll love this one, but just a tip – let her win (at least today?!). PINS have got a special Sunday Feast on March 27 and they’ll be celebrating everything ‘mum’.
Treat her to a sharing traditional roast served on large copper trays, piled high with giant Yorkies and gallons of luscious gravy, all against a backdrop of live music from its house band. Every mum booked into Feast gets a free glass of fizz – AND they’ll also bowl free (up to two mums per booking – subject to availability.)
Sunday Feast runs from 1pm-5pm with limited walk-ins available, but booking is recommended to avoid disappointment and ‘being in the dog house for the rest of the year’.
Tempest at Tithebarn
Tempest is serving bottomless brunch from 10am until 2pm on Mothering Sunday – so you can tuck into a brunch dish of your choice and enjoy bottomless cocktails for an hour and a half.
It costs £35 per person and there’s loads of lovely dishes to choose from like Liberty, a meatless wonder of poached egg, Tempest potato hash, sautéed mushroom, cherry tomato, halloumi, homemade vegetarian sausages and baked beans, or a cream cheese and salmon bagel, with the ultimate combination of thick cream cheese, tomato and ribbons of fresh smoked salmon.
