Attis Bathing Club is set to launch in Liverpool City Centre this summer.
A new wellness destination is set to open in Liverpool this summer, bringing saunas, ice baths and social sessions to the city centre.
Attis Bathing Club will open this August on David Lewis Street inside The Prestige building, offering what founders describe as a more mindful alternative to the traditional night out.
The new space will feature a 30-person Finnish sauna, filtered ice baths, red-light therapy and a lounge-style café designed to encourage people to switch off, connect and recharge.
Attis has been created by Liverpool couple Jennifer Gledhill and Lewis Boardman. Jennifer was inspired after spending seven years living in Sydney, where wellness and socialising often go hand in hand, and wanted to bring a similar concept back home to Liverpool.

Speaking ahead of the launch, Jennifer and Lewis said:
“We’re so excited to bring this unique experience to our hometown. As people place more value on real connection and wellbeing, we’re proud to make guided contrast therapy classes and traditional Aufguss part of everyday life.”
The club will specialise in guided contrast therapy sessions, where guests alternate between hot and cold environments, something believed to help circulation, recovery and mental clarity.
Alongside one-hour guided sessions led by trained experts, the venue will also host breath-work classes, sound baths, sleep reset sessions and traditional Aufguss experiences — a sauna ritual using aromatic steam and choreographed towel movements to create an immersive heat experience.

Guests will also be able to relax in the social café space between sessions, with healthy drinks, snacks, showers and changing facilities all on site.
At weekends, ‘Club Attis’ sessions will introduce DJs and community-led events, with more details expected to be announced soon.
