New R&B brunch Mama’s Mix Tape comes to Mamasan this Easter

Advertorial

When it comes to good advice, everyone knows you should always listen to Mama! And that includes knowing all the biggest floorfillers to play for a guaranteed amazing party atmosphere.

That’s why Mamasan in Liverpool ONE is raiding those classic belt-out hit playlists for a brand-new lively dining concept – Mama’s Mix Tape.

The restaurant and bar is known for its stunning décor, beautiful Pan Asian-inspired dishes and great cocktails, but it’s also about creating fabulous experiences that take a brunch or night out to the next level.

Mama’s Mix Tape, which is launching with a Bottomless Brunch on Easter Sunday, is all that.

Remember listening to your mum playing her favourite tunes around the house or in the car, and having to sing along… because how could you not?

Well Mama’s Mix Tape is going to be bringing the tunes and more – and not on some dodgy home recording but live, with singer Abby getting everyone on their feet.

Think old school anthems like Sybil’s The Love I Lost and Cheryl Lynn’s Got to be Real with divas like Whitney, Beyonce, Mariah, and Celine in the mix too.

Plus there’ll be a choice of Mamasan’s delicious South East Asian food which is made in house from scratch.

And, for an added bonus, Mama’s Mix Tape drinks menu will feature exclusive CBD-infused cocktails created in collaboration with Liverpool-based Supreme CBD.

General manager Craig Cavanagh, who joined Mamasan Liverpool in November, has brought his vision for something different to the venue.

He says Mama’s Mix Tape is the latest lively dining concept designed to appeal to a crowd who want to dine, drink and dance in the same place, in a beautiful safe environment, with loads of entertainment.

Craig Cavanagh said:

“We wanted to create an event around the idea that everyone remembers going in the car with their mum when they were growing up, and she’d keep playing these massive hits, really badly edited obviously because she’s recorded them off the radio!

“She’d have all these favourites and she’d blast them out.

“The music will be whatever Mama wants to put on each week, so it could be house music one week, hip hop and RnB the next – it will be really eclectic but what’s better than 90s’ music?

“To me there’s no music like 90s music and our singer Abby is really entertaining, she’s on the stage and in between the tables, and she gets people up dancing so it’s just a total vibe.”

Mama’s Mix Tape will launch on Easter Sunday with a Bottomless Brunch: £45 each for 90 minutes, with a choice of three small plates or one large plate. The bottomless drinks include; CBD cocktails, Pornstar Martini and Cherry Godfather; premium Prosecco, premium beers, gin and mixers.

From then on it will be on Friday nights: £39.95 each – two hours, with two small plates and one appetiser and two CBD cocktails (not bottomless).

Book by calling 0151 909 8709, email liverpool@mamasan.uk or via their social media.
